How Nelvo collects, uses, and protects your personal information
We collect personal information you provide directly, including your name, email address, date of birth, government-issued identification documents, and financial information required for KYC and AML compliance. We automatically collect technical data such as IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and usage patterns when you interact with our platform. On-chain wallet addresses you connect to the platform are processed to aggregate portfolio data and are not linked to your personal identity in any public disclosure. We do not sell your personal data to third parties under any circumstances.
Your personal information is used to operate and personalize the platform, verify your identity, process transactions, and fulfill our legal and regulatory obligations. Aggregated and anonymized usage data is analyzed to improve platform features, optimize performance, and develop new capabilities. We use your email address to send transactional notifications, security alerts, and, with your consent, marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time through your account Notification Settings or by clicking 'Unsubscribe' in any marketing email.
We share your personal information with regulated financial institutions, payment processors, and identity verification providers strictly as required to deliver our services. Regulatory authorities and law enforcement agencies may receive personal data when legally required by a valid court order or regulatory mandate. Some service providers are located outside your country of residence; where such transfers occur, we implement Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect your data. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing activities. To exercise any of these rights, submit a request to privacy@Nelvo.com from your registered email address; we will respond within 30 days. We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for up to seven years thereafter to comply with financial record-keeping regulations. Account closure requests can be submitted through Settings > Account; following closure, data is deleted or anonymized in accordance with our retention schedule.
